Isabel Freiberger hails from North Carolina where she started dancing in 2006,while she was an undergraduate at Duke University. (Isabel graduated from Duke University in 2010 with a bachelors degree in International Comparative Studies with a concentration in Latin America and a Certificate in Global Health).  By early 2007, Isabel had earned a spot on the Cobo Brothers Dance Company professional team, a well-known salsa dance company based out of North Carolina. She began travelling the world performing and teaching with the team, and it wasn't long before Isabel earned her position as lead female dancer in the company through dedication and a hunger for improvement. She spent seven strong years training with this company and learning all that she could from the dance scene in North Carolina.

In 2013, Isabel relocated to New York City to dedicate her focus on dance and follow her goal of living her life as a professional Latin dancer. Throughout this time Isabel was also completing her Masters in Fine Art from the Academy of Art University Online Program. She graduated in 2015 with her MFA in Fine Art Photography. Upon arriving to NYC, Isabel began a partnership with Fausto Felix that lasted two and a half years. Fausto and Isabel came together to create a powerful partnership of explosive acrobatics, clean lines, and fierce Latin style. In their two years together they competed in several competitions winning titles along the way.

At the end of 2014, Isabel and Fausto joined forces with a group of strong professional dancers in New York City to create a powerful and unique team called Team New York.

The team went on to win first place in the Small team division at the World Salsa Summit Championships in Miami in February of 2015. Soon after the championship, the team broke up.

After meeting on Team New York, Isabel began a second partnership with Robert Rosario. At the end of 2015, Isabel and Fausto decided to split ways, And Isabel focused her efforts on her partnership with Robert. Since March of 2015, Robert and Isabel have made a swift and lasting mark on the Latin dance scene in New York, throughout the US and even internationally. So far they have had almost three successful years of partnership, and their work is only improving together, with stronger and more exciting choreographies and classes that leave students wanting more.
